DULUTH -- The National Weather Service in Duluth reported that the city had seen 3.4 inches of new snow as of 9 p.m. Thursday, raising the seasonal snowfall to 128.7 inches — fourth greatest on record for the city.

Additional snowfall later Thursday and early Friday may push the city even higher on its list of the snowiest winters.
