N.D. Game and Fish to livestream final deer management meeting

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department will livestream one of its final deer management meetings tonight, starting at 7 p.m.

Interested deer hunters can access the broadcast on the Game and Fish website's steaming video page. Hunters can also attend one of two meetings scheduled tonight, at the Game and Fish Bismarck office, and in Jamestown at The Bunker. Both meetings start at 7 p.m. Game and Fish will also post a video of the deer management presentation on its website on Wednesday. State Game and Fish Department officials will present an overview of the current deer population and prospects for the future, and look for input on possible options for changes in the way deer licenses are allocated. The Game and Fish website also has a comment form for hunters who wish to provide further input. Comments are being accepted through March 17.

About 100 people attended a similar meeting Monday night in Fordville, N.D.
