56-year-old injured in Walsh County crash dies

Multiple injuries in 2-vehicle crash in Bemidji

BEMIDJI -- A driver of a pickup truck was hospitalized with serious injuries after colliding with a semi truck Monday morning, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

The crash was reported about 9 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Woodberry Drive SE.

The driver of the pickup was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Each vehicle had one occupant, the State Patrol stated. The driver of the semi did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation. The names of those involved were not immediately available.
