Metallica's Lars Ulrich spends weekend in Fargo
FARGO - Lars Ulrich, drummer for heavy metal band Metallica, was in Fargo on a personal visit this weekend.
According to Danielle Miller, one of WDAY-TV's First News morning anchors, Ulrich, 48, is dating her sister, 28-year-old Jessica Miller.
The couple, which has been been dating for several years, was in town for a weekend visit, Danielle Miller says.
Jessica Miller is a professional model, and has appeared on the cover of various international editions of Vogue magazine. She has also been a model for Gap, H&M and Chanel, among others.
Danielle Miller says she brought Ulrich to the WDAY studios on Saturday, and also to places such as Mezzaluna, Kroll's Diner, the HoDo lounge and Starbucks in Fargo.
Ulrich and Jessica Miller flew out of Fargo on Sunday night.
With hits like "Enter Sandman," "The Unforgiven," and "Master of Puppets," Metallica has won nine Grammy Awards since forming in 1981. The band is currently on a short break from touring before an Oct. 27 concert in New Orleans.
