Sunshine Fest: The second annual More Sunshine Walk & Fun Run will begin at 8 a.m. Jan. 21 at Ralph Engelstad Arena. Proceeds will go the Sunshine Foundation, established in memory of the late Shannon "Sunshine" Larson, to promote hikers' health; a hospitality house for people whose family members are receiving medical treatment in Grand Forks; and a basketball court named in honor of cancer survivor Brittany Dvorak and a yoga room named in memory of the late Dewey Kvidt at the Choice Health & Fitness. Riverside Christian School Fundraiser: The Riverside Christian School annual Spaghetti & More Fundraiser and Open House will be from noon to 3 p.m. Jan. 29 at the school in East Grand Forks. Donations from the lunch will be used to purchase kitchen equipment to ensure U.S. Department of Agriculture food standards are met and to enhance the food program. Frozen Feat benefit for Special Olympics: The fifth annual Frozen Feat run will begin at 10 a.m. Feb. 11 at the Herald, 375 Second Ave. N., in downtown Grand Forks to benefit Special Olympics of Grand Forks. You can register at www.FrozenFeat.com for the 5K Run/Walk and/or the 10K Run. Early bird registration will end Jan. 20. Packet pick-up will begin from 4 to 9 p.m. Feb. 10 at Scheels in Grand Forks with race day registration starting at 8 a.m. Feb. 11 at the Herald. Team E-Race Cancer Sweet-Tarts: The Relay for Life Team E-Race Cancer will present the second annual Sweet-Tarts featuring area race car drivers in drag at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the VFW Club, 312 Demers Ave., East Grand Forks. Admission: $7. Sloppy joes, chips and pickles will be served.
