Grand Forks sets record low temperature on Tuesday morning

Tuesday was a record cold day up and down the Red River Valley.

Grand Forks broke a daily record low Tuesday morning, hitting 11 degrees, said Jim Kaiser, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks. The previous record of 12 degrees was set in 2000.
