GARDEN OF THE WEEK: Top garden for the week of July 27
Grand Forks North Dakota 375 2nd Ave. N. 58203

JoAnn Knudson, who lives north of Arvilla, has been experimenting with her garden for 38 years.

“I like to have something blooming all the time,” she said. “I do like to work with a lot of perennials, and I put some annuals in my garden, too.”

Among the many different types of plants and flowers in her garden are yellow tiger lilies and red bee balms.

Knudson added that she also experiments by dividing and transplanting some of her perennials to different spots in her garden.

“I like to see how things grow in different areas,” she said.
