Fisher woman hurt in U.S. Highway 2 crash
A Fisher, Minn., woman was injured this morning in a head-on vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 near Fisher.
Darla Waldner, 43, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the accident, which occurred at about 9:54 a.m., according to a report from the State Patrol.
According to the news release, Waldner was driving a 2008 minivan eastbound in the westbound lane of Highway 2 when it collided with a 2007 GMC pickup operated by Steven Ross, 59, Crookston.
Neither Ross nor a passenger in his vehicle, Sherry Boe, Crookston, was reported injured.
The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
