Aglow International will meet at 10 a.m. today at the Ember, 8 N. Third St., Grand Forks.
This month’s speaker is Donna Phillips, a single mom of three boys, according to Aglow. She will share her story of healing and hope after her husband, a pastor, announced his affair in front of the congregation.
Bemidji series to feature quartet
The Bemidji Area Church Musicians has announced its 27th annual Summer Recital Series.
Area musicians will perform every Wednesday at noon at different Bemidji churches. Free-will offerings gathered at recitals will go toward scholarships for students studying music in college.
The next recital will feature a French horn quartet at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 1800 Irvine Ave. N.W., Bemidji, Minn. A luncheon will follow the recital for a small fee.

Mekinock church hosting reunion
Middle Grove Lutheran Church, 1981 24th Ave. N.E., Mekinock, N.D., is hosting a “Welcome Home” worship service at 11 a.m. June 22, followed by a noon luncheon.
The service started four years ago when the church celebrated its 125th anniversary and many former members came back to attend the service.
Now the service is held each year as a reunion for both old and new church members.

Bible camp to be held by GF church
Hope Church, 1601 17th Ave. S., Grand Forks, will hold a vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 22 to 26. Children who have completed preschool through fifth grade are invited to participate in what the church describes and a camp full of hands-on experiments, explosions and studying God’s word.
