Grand Forks church to host 2 guest speakers

Valley Christian Center, 3920 Cherry St., Grand Forks, will host Rudi and Sharon Swanepoel of God’s Glory Ministries International at 10 a.m. at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and at 6:30 p.m. Mondaythrough Wednesday.

Bemidji church to host music series

The Bemidji Area Church Musicians has announced its 27th annual Summer Recital Series.

Area musicians will perform every Wednesday at noon at different Bemidji churches. Free-will offerings gathered at recitals will go toward scholarships for students studying music in college.

The next recital will feature Glenn Seibel, euphonium, and Wayne Hoff, piano, at United Methodist Church, 902 Beltrami Ave. N.W., and includes a luncheon after the recital for a small fee.

Gentilly church to celebrate 100th

St. Peters Catholic Church, 25823 185th Ave. S.W., Gentilly, Minn., will celebrate its 100th anniversary starting at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 17. Rev. Michael Hoeppner will say mass, followed by a lunch, tours, historical items and kids games.

Grand Forks church starts Sunday webcasts

Hope Covenant Church in Grand Forks has announced it will webcast Sunday services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. at bit.ly/1mnERaI.

Bible camp plans summer concerts

Park River Bible Camp announced this year’s schedule of summer concerts. These performers will appear on the following dates:

  • Sunday: Hannah Junction
  • July 27: High Plains Trio
  • Aug. 3: The Overtones
  • Aug. 10: Century Club and John Bedore

Concerts start at 7 p.m. Sunday will also include camp worship at 10 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m.
