EGF school to host dinner and theater
Riverside Christian School, 610 Second Ave. N.E., East Grand Forks, is hosting a dinner theater at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Students will perform “Game Changers,” a play that explores five biblical figures who impacted the world, said the school. The menu for the event includes prime rib, potatoes, a vegetable medley and more. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by calling (218) 773-1770.
Rummage sale in GF to fund mission
University Lutheran Church, 2122 University Ave., Grand Forks, is holding a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, with early-bird shopping at 8 a.m.
Funds from the sale will be used to fund a mission trip to “For His Children” Orphanage in Ecuador.

Fisher church to serve salad lunch
Fisher (Minn.) Lutheran Church, 205 Second St. S., is hosting a spring salad luncheon 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Norwegian meal to be held in Grafton
Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 525 Kittson Ave., Grafton, N.D., is holding a family style Norwegian meal from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
The cost of the meal is $12 for adults, $5 for children and free for children 3 and younger.
UND prof to speak at Interfaith Gathering
Christopher Johnson will speak at the monthly Interfaith Gathering at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Christus Rex Lutheran Campus Center, 3012 University Ave. Johnson is an assistant professor of religious studies at UND and a scholar of Eastern Orthodoxy and will present “Why Christianity is not a Western religion.”

EGF church to hold ladies night
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1515 Fifth Ave. N.W., East Grand Forks, is holding a ladies night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. “God, Girlfriends and Chocolate” will include appetizers, mini massages, a door prize and a talk by author Gaye Lindfors. Free childcare will be provided.

Aglow International to hold meeting
Aglow International will meet at 10 a.m. May 10 at the Ember, 8 N. Third St., Grand Forks. The group said three women will speak about different wounds and different struggles but one healer.
Micah Retreat Center starts Silent Saturdays
The Micah Retreat Center, 18763 Red Lake County Highway 17, will hold Silent Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. starting May 17.
The center said Silent Saturdays are informal gatherings to discuss the Christian contemplative way of life and learn and practice contemplative prayer practice. Prayer practices can include meditating on scripture, prayer, tea ceremony, art projects, exploring nature and more. The group will meet the third Saturday of every month through October. All levels are welcome.

Mekinock church to hold Memorial Day ceremony
Middle Grove Lutheran Church, 1981 24th Ave. N.E., Mekinock, N.D., will hold its annual Memorial Day ceremony and luncheon starting at 10:30 a.m. May 26. The Manvel American Legion will lead the ceremony, followed by a luncheon served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
