East Grand Forks seeking election judges

East Grand Forks is looking for a few more election judges for both primary and general elections this year. Anyone looking to serve must be at least 18, a Minnesota resident and eligible to vote.

The city is also looking for head judges who will be in charge of supervising election judges and running a polling station.

Election judges must go through a two-hour training session and head judges must go through a three-hour session. Judges are paid $12 an hour and head judges are paid $13 an hour. Training for both positions is also paid.

Training will be held from the July 22-24 at the East Grand Forks Senior Center. Training will also be available in Crookston if someone cannot attend during the session in East Grand Forks.

Those interested in serving as an election judge should call (218) 773-2483 by June 13.
