GREEN BAY, Wis. — Wisconsin-Green Bay made quick work of UND on Sunday afternoon at Santaga Stadium.

“In the first half, we came out flat and Green Bay outworked us and took the play to us,” UND coach Matt Kellogg said. “I’ll give our kids credit for coming out in the second half and playing with a purpose and executing the game plan better. We have to come out at the start of a Sunday match with the same energy we do in a Friday match. This was a hard lesson for a young team to learn and one I hope we won’t have to learn again.”

Green Bay took control of the game from the start, peppering UND with 20 shots in the first half alone. The Phoenix also took a total of 13 corner kicks in the game, with eight coming in the first half.

The Phoenix received scoring from six players, netting four goals in the first half and two in the second. UND’s senior goalkeeper Kristi Hestdalen managed to make a total of seven saves in the contest.
