Car strikes Grand Forks business

Officers responded to a car crashed into a strip mall on South Washington Street in Grand Forks about 7:20 p.m. Thursday.

The car hit a cleaning company at 1911 S. Washington St., said Sgt. Duane Simon, of the Grand Forks Police Department.

The driver was not injured, and no one was in the business at the time of the crash, Simon said.

Glass was shattered from the front window of the business, and the window frame was damaged.

The car did not appear to be moving at a high speed, Simon said, but the crash is still under investigation and more details will be released later.

Altru Ambulance also responded to the scene.
