Karla Martian and Tonya Walberg are the 2013-14 Greater Grand Forks Women’s Bowling Association hall of fame inductees.

Martian will be inducted for meritorious service.

Walberg will be inducted for superior performance.

Martian joined the Greater Grand Forks Women’s Bowling Association in the 1976-77 season. She was appointed to the association’s board of directors for the 1991-92 season and remained a board member through the 2012-13 season.

Her career high average was 184 in the 1988-89 season.

Walberg began her career in the local youth bowling program at Red Ray Lanes and transitioned to the adult leagues in the 1998-99 season.

She has maintained a 170 average since at least the 2002-03 season.

Also, Walberg has achieved several USBC Merit awards for association high game, series and average. She also has had several championships in all of the tournament events.
