Three people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision along U.S. Highway 2 in East Grand Forks.

According to the East Grand Forks Police Department, the accident occurred at about 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and U.S. Business Highway 2, on the east end of the city.

A 1995 Toyota Corolla driven by Mark Clauson, of Fisher, Minn., was eastbound on Highway 2 when it collided with a westbound 2009 Chevrolet Aveo driven by Fern Wanke, of Grand Forks, as the Aveo was making a left turn to Business Highway 2, according to police.
